Downtown Phoenix YMCA to close; demolition request surfaces

PHOENIX – PHOENIX – The Lincoln Family Downtown YMCA will close Sept. 30 after nearly 75 years. The closure will affect low-income residents, food pantry users and downtown workers. The historic building could also face demolition.
